Physiotherapy
To You
No need to travel; we will come to you at your home, gym or even in the park or your garden. Wherever your natural environment is.
Why
Physios2You?
Local Glasgow physiotherapist Mick McMenemy, founder of Physios2You, saw the need for a professional and reliable local mobile physiotherapy service visiting clients right where they are: in their homes, workplace and gyms.
With people so busy these days, Physios2You comes to you, saving you the time and cost of travelling to and from an appointment.
In-Person Visits
A local mobile Physiotherapist can make an in-person visit to see you at a place of your choosing, whether it is the comfort of your own home, at lunchtime in your place of work, or even as part of your regular gym workout. This allows us to assess and treat you in a bespoke manner.
Making sure you understand the nature of your condition is essential for recovery, so we take the time to do that. Any required ‘exercise’, specific to your needs, will be agreed with you only after you have undergone an assessment, after which we will create your personalised treatment plan.
All our physiotherapists are very experienced and highly skilled experts in their field providing professional help and advice on various topics such as:
- Back Pain
- Chronic Pain
- Musculo-Skeletal Conditions (MSK)
- Health And Fitness Reviews
- Soft Tissue Injuries
- Frozen Shoulders
- Sports Injuries
- Lifestyle Medicine
Remote Consultations
Recent lockdown experience has demonstrated that remote consultations can be fast, effective and very convenient.
For your convenience, we offer remote physiotherapy consultations via Zoom or telephone where we can assess a number of issues and provide personalised treatment plans if appropriate.
Our Approach
Whether you have a simple sports injury or a long held painful chronic condition, our aim is to provide you with excellent care, returning you to a pain free, fit and active life as soon as possible.
We will work with you in the most comfortable and familiar setting of all … your home.
Our meetings will be relaxed and unhurried, and we will use our many years of experience to safely and comprehensively assess your needs.
Specific evidence based treatments derived from up to date research will be agreed with you and used to create your personalised treatment plan.
N.B. – “Personalized Treatment Plans” – Regaining full fitness after injury and illness can take many months. We will support you every step of the way, however long this takes. Typically, with an acute injury, you might only need a few sessions to make significant progress towards full recovery.
Once a full assessment has been done, review appointments will be done in person, or a zoom call can be arranged if an in-person appointment is not essential.
Advocacy
Should it be required, we can also be an advocate for you. In this role we can help you navigate the healthcare system to enable you to access the help in the NHS you may need.
A plain English record, a clinic note, of our assessment findings will be shared with you to enhance your understanding of your condition.
With your permission we will send a copy of this clinic note to your GP with any recommendations included.
How It Works
Book a Call
First things first, we need to make a quick assessment over the phone to make sure our service best fits your needs.
A 20 minute “Triage” call is designed to ensure our service will meet your needs. You will complete a short medical history form as you book. This is essential background information to safely assess you and the condition that you seek help for.
As you book your triage call, you also book your “In-Person” or “Remote Consultation” appointment to avoid delay.
Personalised Care
We offer excellent, personalised care in an unhurried and relaxed setting.
In-Person Appointments
In-person appointments (only available in Glasgow presently) are a full one hour long in order to get to the root of the problem and allow time for you to practise any movements or exercises suggested. This maximises the chances of long term success.
Remote Consultations
Follow Up Appointments
Follow up appointments can be face to face or video calls can be arranged as required. Usually only a few appointments are needed to see lasting improvement and we will ensure you have a plan to minimise recurrences. For more long-term conditions we will stay with you as long as it takes to help you.
What Does It Cost?
£95 per hour for Zoom or telephone calls.
£150 per hour (inc travel time) for in-person consultations (anywhere within 2 miles of a Glasgow subway station).
